            Ingredients

            1 (15 oz) canpeach slices, packed in 100% juice
            0.125 cupwater
            1.125 tbsptablespoons brown sugar, syrup, or honey
            0.125 tspground cinnamon, or nutmeg
            0.125 tspsalt
            1 cupquick cooking oats
            3 tbspchopped nuts: almonds, walnuts, or pecans

            Directions

            1. The can containing peaches is carefully opened and then juice and peaches are poured into a medium sized microwave safe bowl.
            2. Water, cinnamon, sugar, oats and salt are stirred in.
            3. Then the preparation is placed in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes at high temperature until the liquid has been soaked up by the oatmeal.
