Ingredients
| 1 large | onion, skinned | |
| 2 cloves | garlic, skinned and crushed | |
| 1 tbsp | oil | |
| 1 tsp | dry mustard | |
| 4 tbsp | dark brown sugar | |
| 2 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce | |
| 2 tbsp | red wine vinegar | |
| 2 cup | tomato sauce | |

Directions
- Very finely chop the onion and combine with the garlic and oil in a jug (7 cups).
- Cook for 2-4 mins to soften the onion.
- Thoroughly stir the mustard and sugar into the onion, then the remaining ingredients, seasoning to taste.
- Cook until the sauce just comes to the boil and the onion pieces are quite cooked, about 3-6 mins.
