            Ingredients

            1 largeonion, skinned
            2 clovesgarlic, skinned and crushed
            1 tbspoil
            1 tspdry mustard
            4 tbspdark brown sugar
            2 tbspWorcestershire sauce
            2 tbspred wine vinegar
            2 cuptomato sauce

            Directions

            1. Very finely chop the onion and combine with the garlic and oil in a jug (7 cups).
            2. Cook for 2-4 mins to soften the onion.
            3. Thoroughly stir the mustard and sugar into the onion, then the remaining ingredients, seasoning to taste.
            4. Cook until the sauce just comes to the boil and the onion pieces are quite cooked, about 3-6 mins.
